The Syntax DataShield backup system will backup your Data, Exchange, SQL, VMWare Machines, MySQL and keep them safe in our Ultra Secure Bunker.
If your server fails, or a staff member deletes data, we will have several stored copies which can be recovered very easily.
How It Works
Your data is selected by our expert technicians. We choose what data you actually need if a disaster strikes.
- The data is then encrypted to military grade 448 bit.
- This is then automatically mirrored to our secure offsite facility.
- Thereafter only the changed files are backed up, and only the changes are transmitted to us. This keeps internet bandwidth usage to a minimum.
- Email notifications are then sent to you or ourselves to confirm that its backed up successfully.
- If you need to restore data its very fast due to there being a local copy and an offsite copy.
- If an onsite copy is required a backup is taken and stored on the onsite Syntax On Store.
We regularly test the backup system to ensure that it's working as specified.
