  • Following a slip of the tongue by chipset manufacturer AMD’s CEO, Lisa Su, it is widely anticipated that Windows 10 will be released during late July

  • Microsoft will provide support of Windows 10 for the lifetime of the hardware originally purchased with Windows 8 pre-installed
  • The Internet Explorer web browser will be replaced with a “revolutionary” Chrome-like browser, entitled “Microsoft Edge”
  • Windows 10 could popularise cutting-edge technologies, such as facial recognition, USB Type C, and wire-free charging and back-ups
  • Windows 10 is set to provide the much needed usability and stability of Windows 7, with the latest features
